Aryma Labs - Inspired By West and East

If one were to name two inventions that has had a dramatic effect on human civilization, it would be invention of Zero and invention of calculus. Zero and Calculus has made much of the modern day computing and analytics possible. The company Aryma Labs Pvt Ltd is named after two greats Aryabhatta (inventor of zero) and Madhava of sangamagrama (inventor of many calculus principles). The name is also clever pun of forecasting technique ‘Arima’.
Why Labs ?
Well, We are inspired by Bell Labs. Bell Labs was home to some breakthrough innovations in Physics, Electronics and Computer Science. Not to mention that 9 Nobel Prizes were awarded for the work done at Bell Labs. We aspire to be like Bell Labs one day but in the domain of Data Science. Drawing inspiration from  Aryabhatta, Madhava and Bell Labs, we resolve to innovate and implement cutting edge Data Science solutions.

The Leadership

Venkat comes in with around 14 years of rich experience in the field of Data Science, Software programming and Management consulting.
He has a triple major degree in Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science & MBA in marketing.
Venkat has devised many proprietary statistical/machine learning algorithms. He has also built many innovative products leveraging NLP and Machine Learning that have helped enterprises achieve both top line and bottom-line growth.
Apart from playing with numbers and equations, Venkat also likes to play badminton. He is also an ardent tennis fan, more so an ardent Rafa Nadal fan.
Venkat also likes to teach statistics and machine learning from first principles.

She has amassed experience across industries such as CPG, E-commerce, Technology & Media and Supply Chain.

Why Aryma Labs is a great place to work

My journey at Aryma Labs started as an intern and now I am working as a Data Scientist since the past 1.5 years. The learning experience has been an exciting one as I got to solve diverse problems in the field of data science in this short span of time. I got the opportunity to be a part of the Marketing Mix Modelling client projects spread across domains.
I got the unique opportunity to work on myriad of techniques like Causal Inference, Poisson Regression, Ordinal Regression, Panel Data Analysis, Unobserved Components Model (UCM), SHAP, Generalized Additive Models etc.
Each day at work I get to learn new things which constantly helps me to upskill myself and stay up to date with the algorithms in the field of data science. My growth and learning has been monotonically increasing since the day I joined the company.
